Varsity Girls – Assistant Coach
I have been involved in soccer my whole life. I played for Florida’s State Select Team from the age of 12 to 16, and play four years of varsity soccer for New Smyrna Beach High School in Florida. I attended Piedmont University in Demorest, GA where I played soccer my first year. After the first year I decided to focus on my academics. Once graduating I took a position with Merck Pharmaceuticals and began coaching under 10 soccer in Gainesville, GA. This led me to deciding to become a teacher and a coach and in 1999 I switched careers and took a position teaching Math and head coaching boys varsity soccer back in Florida at my alma mater New Smyrna Beach High. After two years there I transferred back to Georgia and for 10 years was the head coach of the varsity boys soccer program at Stephens County High in Northeast GA. I retired from coaching to take an administrative position. A few years later I moved here to Forsyth, GA and was asked to return to coaching here at FCHS and have been working with Coach Camp and the girls varsity program here at FCHS since 2015
